We started the day out by having breakfast at an adorable place called The Chef and the Baker. They had the best sausage infused biscuits and stir fried kale and mushroom sides. A couple from Colorado opened up the place in February. They had a great breakfast menu and lots of homemade breads. We would highly recommend it!

After our amazing breakfast, we went to a place Mike was really excited to see…. Wheels Through Time.

After the museum, we decided to check out The Island in Pigeon Forge, since we had to head towards there on our way to our next cabin In Sevierville. On our way, we saw a black bear cross the street a little ahead of us! It was unexpected because it was at 12:30 in the afternoon.

It ended up pouring rain when we got to The Island so we hung out in the Jeep for a bit until it stopped. then, we headed out for some touristy fun.

After our visit to The Island, we had reservations at Guy Fieri’s Downtown Flavortown in Pigeon Forge. It was a pretty unique place with an arcade, tiki bar and restaurant, but the food was just ok. Everything was super salty. Our server did a good job, but the reservation we made was forgotten about so we had to ask the hostess to help us since we never got a text message about our table being ready. They handled it quickly once we double checked with them.

Cayden was in heaven as he had me (mom) with him to play several games in the arcade. Case and Mike…..well…..they couldn’t wait to get out of there! They’re not big on arcades and crowds. Needless to say, Cayden and I didn’t play too many games. What took the longest was trying to “buy” prizes with our tickets we earned.

After our time at Guy’s, we headed to our final cabin in Sevierville. On the way, Mike and Casey were cracking jokes about how secluded it was and how it looked like we were in a place like what was in the movie Deliverance. Luckily, we got there just before dark and……it was perfect!
